Gardai investigating three burglaries in Tullamore

Gardai in Tullamore are investigating three burglaries which took place at houses in the town yesterday (Tuesday) evening.

A quantity of cash and jewellery was stolen during the incidents which happened in the early hours of darkness at houses in neighbouring estates in the general Collins' Lane / Ballin Rí area.

The houses were not occupied when the break-ins occurred.

Sergeant John Doran asked anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area yesterday evening to contact Tullamore Garda Station on 057 9327600.
