Simon and Cliona showbiz wedding to feature on BBC

Country music fans right across the country will be glued to BBC One Northern Ireland on Wednesday night next to get a sneak peek behind the showbiz wedding of the year between Cliona Hagan and local musician Simon Sheerin from Tang.

The documentary, called "From This Moment On" will air at 10.40pm on BBC One Northern Ireland on Wednesday, November 2, and promises "behind the scenes access to the major milestones and highlights" of planning one of the biggest country weddings of the year."

From bridal shopping and juggling life on the road, viewers will be able to follow the well-known celebrity couple as they go about planning an ever-expanding wedding while at the same time attempting to balance a demanding workload - and trying to make time to catch up with family and friends!

Simon and Cliona, who hails from Ballinderry, on the Derry/Tyrone border, soon discover that the country roads to the altar have a few unforeseen twists and turns, and the exclusive access documentary is "filled with joyous moments and laughter" as the loved-up couple prepare to take the plunge into married life.

Cliona & Simon: From This Moment On is on BBC One Northern Ireland, Wednesday, November 2 at 10.40pm. It is a Green Inc Production for BBC NI and will also be available on the BBC iPlayer.

The country showbiz couple announced their engagement in December 2020 and tied the knot in front of a huge crowd of family and friends from the world of showbusiness at a music-filled ceremony in St. Mary's Parish Church in Tang on Wednesday, May 25 last.
