Mucklagh Community Centre to host Bat Walk and Talk event

Bat Conservation Ireland, in collaboration with Offaly Climate and Biodiversity Action Group and Mucklagh Tidy Village will host a Bat Walk and Talk information evening in Mucklagh Community Centre on Friday, August 14, at 9pm.

The free event will commence with an indoor talk about Irish bats, following which a walk with, expert bat detectors, using ultrasonic sensors to identify different bat species, will take place.

Those intending to participate in the event are encouraged to wear suitable clothing and footwear for the outdoor walk.
