Birr man performs with Amble for band's first festival headliner at Electric Picnic

Birr man Peter Kelly performed with Irish folk band Amble, as the band performed their first-ever festival headliner at Electric Picnic last weekend.

Amble consists of three members Robbie Cunningham, Oisín McCaffrey, and Ross McNerney, and are supported by other musicians including violinist Maria Ryan, and Peter on drums.

The band captured the hearts of all those in the audience at Electric Picnic last Sunday night, as they performed a variety of their well-known songs, including 2026 hit The Swell.

Peter, a drummer from Offaly, was previously involved in a band called All The Luck In The World, which garnered huge support in 2014 as their song 'Never’ was used in a Trivago advertisement.
