Fun House youth theatre to launch in Tullamore
Esker Arts has announced the launch of Fun House Youth Theatre, a new youth theatre project for teenagers aged 13–18 in Tullamore and the surrounding areas.
Fun House Youth Theatre will begin on Tuesday, November 2, at 7pm, with sessions taking place every Tuesday evening at Esker Arts.
The project will provide young people with a welcoming and creative environment where they can develop their confidence, imagination and performance skills while having fun and meeting other young people with an interest in theatre.
The new youth theatre will be affiliated to Youth Theatre Ireland and is being supported by Offaly County Council and Esker Arts, reflecting a shared commitment to providing meaningful creative opportunities for young people in the community.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore acting, improvisation, theatre-making and performance, with the emphasis on creativity, collaboration and enjoyment. No previous theatre experience is required, just enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to get involved.
Fun House Youth Theatre is intended to become a vibrant and inclusive part of Tullamore’s cultural life, giving local young people a space to express themselves and develop their creative voices.
Teenagers aged 13 to 18 who are interested in joining Fun House Youth Theatre are invited to register their interest by contacting Esker Arts at info@eskerarts.ie.
Places are expected to be limited, so early registration of interest is encouraged.
