Rhode's Chai Bella reaches Petmania Puppy of the Year finals

Rhode pooch Chai Bella recently reached the Petmania Puppy of the Year finals.

Chai Bella was one of 26 county finalists at Pet Expo at the National Show Centre in Dublin on Saturday, October 17, following a competition that attracted 1,414 entries nationwide.

The perfect pup has a story behind her name: her full name is Chai Spiced Latte, inspired by her mother, Pumpkin Spiced Latte.

As Chai looks just like her mum, the family wanted to keep the connection.

After losing her childhood pet, Kaelyn says welcoming Chai has been incredibly special. Described as having “the biggest personality in the tiniest body”, she makes Kaelyn laugh every day with her cheeky ways.

The South Leinster title went to Teddy Boo, a Toy Poodle from Errill, Laois, while Ivy, a Dalmatian from Mayo, took the overall title.
