'Biodiversity and a Brew' event to be held in Birr on Wednesday

On Wednesday next, November 11, as part of National Science Week, Offaly Climate and Biodiversity Action Group will welcome Eimhin Shortt to another 'Biodiversity and a Brew' event in Birr Library.

Eimhin's talk is entitled 'Stories of Soil'; and he will highlight the cultural heritage of soil, exploring both soil and plant science, local resilience, soil health and identity of place as threads in a larger, often untold story of the soil beneath our feet.

This talk is free and suitable for everyone.

You are most welcome to Birr Library from 6pm until 7.30pm. No registration is necessary. Refreshments will be provided.
