Tolu Makay to perform at Offaly's third Africa Day

Africa Day is set to return to Offaly for its third consecutive year, bringing a vibrant celebration of African culture, music and community to the heart of Tullamore.

Supported by Irish Aid, Offaly County Council, Offaly Volunteer Centre, Offaly Local Development Company and the Offaly Africa Support Group, the annual event promises a fun-filled day for all ages.

The main celebrations will take place at O’Connor Square in Tullamore on Saturday, May 30, from 12 noon to 6pm.

Visitors can look forward to dynamic cultural showcases, live music and performances, delicious cuisine from across the African continent, and a range of family-friendly activities.

A highlight of this year’s event will be a special performance by Tullamore singer-songwriter and Dancing With The Stars finalist Tolu Makay.
