Popular Cannonball supercar spectacle returning to Offaly next month

The ever-popular Cannonball supercar spectacle is set for a return to Offaly next month.

The first stage of the high-octane fundraiser, which supports Ronald McDonald House, will finish in Tullamore on Friday, September 11, at 6pm, having departed at 11am from The Johnstown Estate in Enfield, County Meath.

Spectators will then have the opportunity to admire the spectacular collection of supercars on the town's main street with thanks to Offaly County Council and Tullamore Chamber.

Cannonball founder Alan Bannon confirmed that the event is set to roll from September 11-13, taking in parts of Offaly, Westmeath, Kildare, Wicklow, Clare, Limerick, Cork and Kilkenny.

Cannonball, fuelled by miles+ from Circle K, is the largest organised road trip in Europe, bringing together more than 200 of the world's most extraordinary supercars, hyper cars, and novelty cars.

Over 250,000 spectators are expected and they will have the opportunity to see an unrivalled collection of automotive icons, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bentley and Maserati.

Founded by Kildare businessman Alan Bannon, Cannonball delivers an estimated €2.5 million economic benefit to the towns and communities it visits each year, while simultaneously raising significant funds for Irish children's charities.

Cannonball has already raised €2,281,871 for Irish children's charities and this year are raising funds for Ronald McDonald House.
