Date, venue and TV details confirmed for Offaly minor hurlers' All Ireland final

The Offaly minor hurlers' first All-Ireland final in more than 30 years will be played in Nowlan Park, Kilkenny, on Sunday, July 3.

Throw-in for the decider against neighbours Tipperary will be at 1.30pm, the Offaly GAA county board confirmed this afternoon.

The big game will be broadcast live on TG4.

The Faithful County secured its first All Ireland minor final place since 1989 with a memorable 2-16 to 0-18 win over Clare on Friday.

Stunning long-distance shooting from Dan Ravenhill, goals from Adam Screeney and Conor Doyle, and tenacious defending saw Offaly overcome the Banner county in Thurles.
