TG4 to televise Offaly senior hurling championship final
Kilcormac-Killoughey will be hoping to secure a third consecutive county senior hurling title when the play Shinrone in the championship final on Sunday, October 19.
Both clubs sealed their place in the final at the weekend, a Charlie Mitchell point in injury time proving the difference for Kilcormac-Killoughey in their minimum win over Birr in Glenisk O'Connor Park Tullamore.
Meanwhile, Shinrone defeated Belmont by eight points in their semi-final encounter in Grant Heating St Brendan's Park Birr.
Four goals proved crucial to the winner's cause with DJ McLoughlin raising two green flags, his scores complemented by goals from Killian Sampson and Donal Morkan.
The final will be a repeat of the 2022 and 2023 occasions, Shinrone havign the upper hand three years ago, while Kilcormac-Killoughey gained retribution a year later.
This year's senior hurling championship final will be televised live on TG4 on Sunday, October 19, with a confirmed throw-in time of 1pm.
